Cooperation without Compromise

How do we remain faithful to God when no one around us believes in Him? Daniel 1 provides us with an answer. As Alistair Begg points out, Daniel was a young man of resolve who was exiled in a foreign land. He was not withdrawn from the culture—but he didn’t let himself be absorbed into the culture, either. Rather, he practiced cooperation without compromise. Because he feared God, he knew when to say “yes” and when to say “no.”
