Discipline in the Church

Matthew 18:1-35  (ID: 2058)

When we imagine the vital elements of church life, discipline might not be our first thought. We weaken the church, though, when we fail to call others to repentance. Discipline is a profitable practice—one that Alistair Begg describes as bringing greater purity and clarity to a church’s shining light. Scripture’s instructions on the practice and process of church discipline bring out this luminous clarity as they lead us toward restoration.

Who Is the Greatest?

1At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
