After Jesus’ tomb was discovered to be empty, two disciples encountered a stranger who asked about recent events. They explained that they had believed Jesus was their Redeemer but that He had been crucified. Alistair Begg examines the moment when the stranger, the risen Christ Himself, pointed them to the Scriptures to explain all that had unfolded. Like the disciples, we also may miss who Jesus is and why He came unless we allow the Word of God to penetrate our hearts.
