An Exposition of Psalm 100 — Part Two

Psalm 100:3–5  (ID: 3247)

Psalm 100 is one of the best-known passages in the Scriptures. In fact, the Lord Jesus Himself would have sung this psalm in worship! Teaching from these verses, Alistair Begg reminds us that our praise, thankfulness, and trust in God’s steadfast love are based on what we know of Him from His Word. We are encouraged to apply this great missionary psalm in the context of our lives, calling others to faith in the one true God.

3Know that the Lord, he is God!

It is he who made us, and we are his;1

we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4Enter his gates with thanksgiving,

and his courts with praise!

Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5For the Lord is good;

his steadfast love endures forever,

and his faithfulness to all generations.
