The Good Shepherd

John 10:7-21  (ID: 1842)

Christians have long embraced Jesus’ identity as the Good Shepherd. We forget, though, that this was an astonishing claim for Him to make in His time. Examining Jesus’ words in the Gospel of John, Alistair Begg shows us Christ’s extraordinary love for His sheep. As our shepherd, Jesus offers us salvation by laying down His life, satisfies our craving to be known, and gathers us into His family. These are comforting truths, especially in times of pain and trouble.


7So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
