Life can sometimes feel like a series of routine events that simply fill our fleeting time. In this sermon, however, Alistair Begg shows us that one of the distinguishing traits of believers is that they are filled with hope. We aren’t burdened with relentlessly pursuing a fulfilling life, nor are we in danger of giving up entirely and embracing a life of disillusionment. For the Christian, there is more to our hope than the here and now.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
