While teaching the Bible in American public schools would cause much controversy, John Dickson, a native Australian, came to faith in Christ through a scripture class taught in school. He points out a common idiosyncrasy concerning evangelism: Christians treat sharing the gospel as an embarrassment, rather than treating evangelism as a casual conversation about our favorite subject. He talks about his approach as a pastor for helping his congregation know and share Christ and he gives some examples of how to use accounts from the four gospels in responding to unbelievers.
