Perspective on Life

Psalm 5:1–3  (ID: 0540)

Every runner in a race knows that a strong finish depends on a strong start. The same principle applies to our daily rhythms as well. In this sermon from the Psalms, Alistair Begg examines David’s pattern of beginning each day in contact with God. As with David, a consistent, humble approach to our King offers us strength for the day ahead. We can be comforted as we learn to expect personal, wise guidance in our faithful walk with Christ.

Lead Me in Your Righteousness

To the choirmaster: for the flutes. A Psalm of David.

1Give ear to my words, O Lord;

consider my groaning.

2Give attention to the sound of my cry,

my King and my God,

for to you do I pray.

3O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;

in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you1 and watch.
