Jesus is not a patch to be added to the life we already have or the religion we vainly observe; He came not to improve upon who and what we are but to make us brand-new. To illustrate the transforming power of Christ, Alistair Begg profiles three needy men and the encounter each one had with Jesus. As Christ demonstrated His power to them, He revealed His purpose and invited them to share it—just as He invites us.
