A Proposition and a Promise

Isaiah 55 calls believers to “seek the Lord”—but if we have already been saved, why should we pursue Him? Alistair Begg explains that all should seek Him immediately and consistently in His world, His Word, and His Son because He alone can save us from our trouble. Apart from God, we are willfully and helplessly lost in our sin. Those who diligently pursue Him, however, receive forgiveness, a new family, and a future hope.

By Faith

1Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

The Compassion of the Lord

1“Come, everyone who thirsts,

come to the waters;

and he who has no money,

come, buy and eat!

Come, buy wine and milk

without money and without price.
