Thanksgiving 101

Psalm 100:1–5  (ID: 3064)

When we recognize that our Lord is God and that He is good, we can’t help shouting aloud with joy and urging others to do the same. As Alistair Begg expounds from the Psalms, God’s worshippers don’t exalt some tribal deity but the God whom all people everywhere should worship. We see His works all around us and are driven to thank Him not just with our mouths but with our lives. He is infinite and perfect, bestowing blessings on all people who love, obey, and bless Him.

His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

A Psalm for giving thanks.

1Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

2Serve the Lord with gladness!

Come into his presence with singing!

3Know that the Lord, he is God!

It is he who made us, and we are his;1

we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4Enter his gates with thanksgiving,

and his courts with praise!

Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5For the Lord is good;

his steadfast love endures forever,

and his faithfulness to all generations.
