A Cameo of Compassion

Jeremiah was in a hopeless circumstance, thrown into a cistern by his enemies. In the prophet’s rescue, God used an unlikely person—Ebed-Melek, a slave, alien, and eunuch—in order to show that all glory belongs to Him.
