The fictional depiction includes a forked tongue, a long tail even a red pitchfork. But according to the Bible, the devil isn’t a funny little character designed to make us laugh. Spiritual Warfare

Knowing and Resisting Your Enemy

When thinking about the devil and his servants, we often make two common mistakes: either we become preoccupied with their existence, or we dismiss them altogether. In truth, the Bible teaches that there is a war happening all around us every day—and while it is both serious and deadly, in Christ we are assured to be on the winning side. In this series on spiritual warfare, Alistair Begg helps listeners understand the often overlooked reality that as Christians and soldiers in God’s army, we are called to understand who our enemy is, where our battle is taking place, and how to defend ourselves before we can be successful in the ongoing, unseen, and unavoidable war. Though the fate of our enemy has been decided, the battle rages on. We must not hesitate to make use of the armor and weapons that God has given us to fend off Satan’s attacks and press on to victory.
