Authority in the Church, Part One

From Series: Authority in the Church

Colossians 1:18  (ID: 1142)

Who is in charge? Sadly the answer is often confused in our contemporary society and compromised in Christianity. The only answer to this inevitable and fundamental question is Jesus Christ, the head of the church. His Word demands our utter submission and obedience to Jesus’ authority, not at all to our own desires or comforts.

18And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
