For many, Caleb, son of Jephunneh, is an obscure Bible figure. Nevertheless, Scripture holds his godly life up as an example worthy of emulation. Caleb was a man of distinction who stood up against the majority, rested in God’s promises, and walked God’s path with devotion. He followed the Lord with all of his heart. Alistair Begg invites us to ask ourselves: Are we walking in the same direction and devotion of Caleb?
1Then all the congregation raised a loud cry, and the people wept that night.
