Receiving Christ is not the end of the Christian life; in fact, it’s just the beginning! In this message, Alistair Begg unpacks a series of biblical principles for progress laid out by Paul. As the apostle taught, all growth in the Christian life must be consistent with its origin in grace through faith in Jesus: we must be rooted in Christ, continue in Him, and grow to maturity in Him. As we do so, we will find ourselves strengthened in the faith and overflowing with thanksgiving.
6Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
