FRANgelism, Part Two

FRANgelism, Part Two

Jesus met a woman in a fairly common situation, going about the normal business of her day, and yet it proved to be a day that was life-changing. Jesus engages the woman at the well naturally, arouses her curiosity, and appeals to her deep sense of dissatisfaction in order to offer her Living Water. Through his example, we begin to think of what it would take to be meaningfully involved in talking to our friends, loved ones, and neighbors about the Lord Jesus Christ.

"I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ." (Philemon 6)

The more we share the "good news" with others, the more we become aware of the wonder of our salvation. These studies call us to take seriously the opportunities for evangelism which are around us every day. Only a few will be called to go to the ends of the earth, but we are all called to expend ourselves in the cause of telling our friends, relatives, associates and neighbors about who Jesus is and why He came.
