John 10:1-10  (ID: 1222)

When Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd in John 10, the imagery was intentional. Though we may be familiar with this metaphor for Christ, we often picture an ineffective and weak character leaning on a staff. In this message, Alistair Begg explains the significance of Christ’s reference and reminds us of the spiritual implications of a true shepherd who bravely, sacrificially, and lovingly cares for his sheep.

I Am the Good Shepherd

1“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber.
