Life in the Local Church — Part Three

 (ID: 1064)

Many people perceive religion as an external add-on that doesn’t affect the rest of their lives at all. Paul, however, encouraged the Colossians to embrace a dynamic “faith that functions,” impacting every area of daily living. The Word of God is to have a central place in our lives, Alistair Begg teaches—and our hunger for it indicates spiritual healthiness. As the Word guides our actions, choices, and songs of praise, we respond with thankful hearts for all that God is and has done for us.
