One Man's Steps to Baptism

Acts 8:26-40  (ID: 1451)

Many people are interested in worship, but they also have unanswered questions about God. Acts 8 records Phillip's encounter with one such man—an Ethiopian eunuch whose worship led him to consider the Scriptures and question their meaning. Alistair Begg reminds us that when such sincere questioning gives way to belief, the result is joyful obedience exemplified by baptism.

Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch

26Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise and go toward the south4 to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place.
