Luke 19:11-27  (ID: 1120)

People often think of the parable of the ten servants in relation to how we manage our time or money. Listen as Alistair explains that managing the gospel is what Christ really had in mind. Those who have heard and embraced the gospel will be fruitful in proclaiming it. A servant who hides Christ’s message is not useful to the King; this kind of servant will ultimately become poor, unfruitful and will demonstrate that he or she was never a true servant at all.

The Parable of the Ten Minas

11As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately.
